Thrift: A Virtue

on the skinny

oh girl

Just finished a post for Fashion Network Seattle on getting wardrobe fillers on the cheap -- specifically chronicling some recent purchases from Forever21 (The shoes were $22!). It's especially important to have some clothes that are inexpensive if you leave in as rainy a place as Seattle! Read the post here if you fancy!

What's your all time favorite thrifted find?

  1. Your blog is absolutely beautiful, I love the aesthetic.

And those shoes are adoooorable! "Fillers"/basic pieces are the greatest thing ever, best way to restyle outfits! I actually really like when Seventeen/Teen Vogue and any other of those teeny bopper fashion mags show the weeklong progression of outfits using only a few pieces.

    Definitely following!

  23. Shevah: I completely agree. It's sort of a rush finding such good deals. Haha. I thought for awhile it was a female thing but I've got my fiance pretty addicted too now. He's stocking up on all sorts of tweed blazers, oxfords & bowling shoes : ] and I adore your blog, to say the least.

Nadia: Aren't they great? And surprisingly comfortable -- buttery soft.

S&O: Thank you! They definitely add a little something to otherwise boring ensembles : ]

GorJess: Thanks! And YES you do know all about the rain!

GretchTM: Thanks : ] I just love your blog.
