And I Love Him

So my loves, I haven't posted in a while...this week's been absolutely nuts -- 600 pages of critical theory reading and 30 or so pages of essay writing. I'm glad that's over for a bit!

These photos are from last week. Robert and I went on a day trip up to Vancouver, British Columbia. Twas a lovely excursion -- lotsa java, grubby pizza, hours trying on suits, and people watching from a window...let me say that there were some impressively dressed individuals in that city (well-executed grunge & military influences)...and then there were also a lot of twenty-something year olds in distressed graphic tees & overly embellished denim, which we giggled about for a good hour.

Robert managed to find his wedding suit -- it's beautiful! And also some navy sailing shorts, a blue and white striped sweater (very Picasso on a sailboat), an oxford tuxedo shirt, and a couple other things. I, on the other hand, was VERY good and only brought home a pair of mid-calf wellies and Robert bought me a metal birdie headband (UO)! What a gentleman! He also began the morning perfectly by bringing me a fresh yellow rose; I love him.
