simplicity rules the school

feather
sometimes, simplicity rules the school. here at the park palace, we take a minimalist, brown paper kinda approach to gift wrapping. this year, we threw on some pinterested tags, puff balls, and dotted feathers. and voila!

we also celebrated six years together over our annual date: the nutracker and fondue. robbie really spoiled me over four courses artichoke cheesy, salmony, dark chocolatey goodness and a bottle of one of the best house wines, hogue, which comes from wa, funny enough.

and then we came home to a pretty clean home with only a couple frames pushed askew -- probably by hyper puppy tails smacking against the walls, something like this:

but that night (or at least by the time we got home)...

our little animals were ready for nothing but a long winter's nap.
