let's make floral crowns! i'll walk you through it ; )

you'll need:
silk flowers // floral wire // floral tape // scissors // pliers (optional)

you'll need:
silk flowers // floral wire // floral tape // scissors // pliers (optional)
my total cost: about $12. but i have so much left over.

you can use any flowers you like. my tutorial is slightly adapted from one i found a little over a year ago on bleubird vintage (miss james deserves some serious cred) & i love her bright, saturated crown. but i thought a softer, diaphanous one was more deer circus style.

one:
shape the floral wire into a circle that fits around your head comfortably. make it a bit bigger than your head's circumference as the crown will get thicker once you add lowers. wrap the wire several times to make it nice & sturdy. i wrapped mine about five times & then twirled a circle of wire around the circle to secure the crown and hold all the loops together. wrap floral tape at the end of the last loop.

two:
clip flowers from their stems with scissors, leaving about an inch of the stem beneath the flower. this makes it easier to wrap to the crown. you can also cut off some of the leaves if you want -- i left about half of them. starting at the center of the crown, hold the stem against the circle & wrap a two inch piece of floral tape around the stem and crown together. then use your fingers (or pliers) to wrap a 3-4 inch piece of wire over & floral tape.

Hey Bridget! Madison from AwkwardGirls here.
First off-- This is one of the best things I've seen. I need to do it ASAP.
Secondly, my hair do is suuuppeerrrr easy. I would feel silly making it feel all tutorial like because its that easy. Trust me. You can do it!
Here is a link that gave me the inspiration (I do basically the same thing, except I don't give it the snooki bump) Just pig tails and pin it basically. Here you go!
