bucket list: guitar

welcome to a new series on the deer circus: bucket list checkpoints!
you may remember the bucket lists we posted here.
as we check things off, i'll do quick posts to track our progress.

as you can see, i've started to teach myself guitar; years of choir mean i can at least read music (phew!) and violin lessons of past mean i can kinda handle a stringed thing (emphasis on kinda). we've had robbie's guitar sitting around and it's been begging me to give it some love. maybe i'll share a video once i'm a little better....

p.s. we'll also include checkpoints from our photography & thrift bucket lists -- but we're keeping the contents of those lists a surprise!

  1. I want to learn guitar so badly! I got one two years ago and took lessons, but stopped when I went back to school. I really want to pick it up again, though! Excited to see your progress, good luck! xo

  6. That's awesome! Would love to learn how to play a guitar. I played piano when I was a little, but it's been so long since I've played or read music, that I've forgotten how to do both. Sad right?

  9. Learning how to play a guitar is on my wishlist as well, but I don't know anyone who would teach me. I've been thinking about just trying it out myself, but this probably wouldn't really work. :D
