moving is a very messy business: stuff in piles, brown boxes, paint chips, forgotten books & plates & knick-knacks, neurotic dogs, sore arms.
but it's also an adventure.
(and i really kind of love it a lot.)

we're completely smitten with our new space. going from a cave-like apartment with no natural light to a high-ceilinged loft with FIVE huge windows (and cheaper rent?!)...we're on cloud nine.
also, surround sound thunderstorms & watching my best friends take a break to dance a bit? it's hard to imagine a better life.

Oh adventures in moving, how I don't miss them. I'm glad you're taking this in stride and can't wait to see what the new place looks like decorated. You have such a great eye. I owe you an email and you'll be getting it either tonight or tomorrow. I promise :)
you're probably the only person that likes moving. when i moved i was tempted to just throw out everything and start over. SO TEMPTED haha. but your new space sounds lovely!! especially the high ceilings and open windows. i love lofts. and holy moley you have a lot of deer :)
