all the flowers

being city dwellers is really, really great. ninety-nine percent of the time, i actually think it's the best.
but then there's that one percent of the time when you'd really like to see a green lawn bursting with fresh flowers.
i guess that's what coming home is for.

  1. I've been longing for fresh flowers.
My mom has a beautiful garden....and student housing just doesn't seem to feel the need for a garden.

as usual, your pictures are lovely!

  6. I have been completely torn between denver and Boulder lately (and uhm.. Brooklyn, Kona, and Portland. Oh and Barcelona and London, but that's besides the point). I love that I have so much nature here but also miss the ease of walking out my doorstep and being at the foot of a million restaurants and experiences! It's a tough choice! Beautiful flowers the single pink rose is my favorite!
Hope you're having a fabulous trip!

  10. I couldn't agree more! I love the city so much, but something keeps us inextricably linked to the natural world. That to say: must.have.flowers.
