things thrifted

deer figurine // yes, her red eyes are super creepy. but nothing a little white paint can't fix.
sauce pot // floral, grainy, and straight outta the 70s.
coffee jar // robbie & i have been dying to scatter kitchen containers throughout our home -- on shelves and tables -- after seeing this on a beautiful mess awhile back.
utensil holder: our teeny cooking ware drawer is getting out of control. time to take over more countertop real estate.

  2. I've got the most ridiculous amount of speckled ceramic things from the 70's thrifted and saved up over the past like, 3 years, for my move coming up this month :3 THAT POT is the cutest thing ever, makes me want to go complete my collection...

  3. That coffee jar is wonderful!

And, haha! That deer will be super cute once its eyes are changed. =)

So, your blog title involves deer, you purchased a deer recently, and in the last picture I see two more little ones.
Is it safe to say that deer are one of your favorite animals? And, perhaps you have a very endearing collection of them? (I just couldn't resist being a bit goofy in with that word play...) =)

  5. The movie industry could make a horror movie about this deer. I may be one of this toys that wake in the middle of the night and do... ehm horrible thing! Ok, debbie stop! I frighted myself in the thought of this...

  15. I love the coffee container idea you got from A beautiful mess, their home tour was amazing! The deer is very cute but could definitely use a little help from some visine (or, white paint). Right now he looks like the spawn of the Evil blue bronco that welcomes you to DIA- AHHH!
