as much as i love summer duds, i'm really ready for fall clothing. i love layering up, mixing prints and colors -- & testing my wardrobe's limits.
that inspired my outfit today: i've gotten into a habit of wearing pieces in the same combos over & over. so i'm challenging myself to fix that with my style posts. my rules:
1. no new clothing: wear things i already own.
2. mix & match things i've never worn together.
3. emphasize: quirkiness, comfort, & modesty.
4. get back in the habit of posting these: at least 2 per week.
dress, worn as skirt: urban outfitters. sweater: banana republic (thrifted). sandals: forever21. gem necklace: jennifer lane designs.
p.s. here are some ladies who are inspiring me lately:
bri had the best post about dressing modestly. bleubird's maternity series inspires me to use what i already have. ali is so good at layering & wearing bright, beautiful clothing.
charity has a knack like no other for making outfits that are chic, but comfy too. elsie + emma's date night post was cute -- this is how i usually think about dressing: what would i wear on an ice cream date?
