where i wake up

where i wake up. to my left side are best friends: robbie, a beagle, and a frenchie (yes, they sleep with us...we're a tight-knit family). and to my right are other good friends: lots and lots of books!

we live in a studio, just a partial wall separating our bedroom and kitchen. we like how cozy it is -- all the place's nooks & crannies, its high ceilings, and exposed brick always make us feel right at home. i just added the fabric garland i made for a photobooth to the wall above our bed, and we both love it.

p.s. learn how to make the garland here if you fancy. xo.

  4. It does look super cozy :) We tried sleeping with our dog Vera, but that didn't turn out so well. She gets to when it's thundering though.
