cleanin' up

we are trying to declutter around these parts.
since we got married & moved a week after graduating college, we've had a lot of stuff that's just...lingered. a lot of stuff we like, but don't love. things we think are cute, but not quite beautiful anymore. so we'll be working on that this week. wish us luck.

  3. We're doing the same thing right now. I've already taken like 3 trash bags full of stuff to the Goodwill. Serious purging.

  4. it is the best feeling to simplify your home! My organization mantra is: if it's not serving a purpose in your life you don't need it...makes it easier to get rid of stuff!

  9. your life seems so beautiful. At least the way you see it. :)
I wanted to see those photos from the wedding you shot recently but the service in portland is so bad that I couldn't see them. I'm finally at a computer and I can't find them! haha!

  13. I'm moving in January (from an apartment to a house!) and so I've been slowly trying to de-clutter in preparation for the move. I want a fresh start!

    Good luck with your de-cluttering!

  16. good luck! it's really hard to thin out your stashes. but so, so worth it later- physically, mentally, emotionally, everything.

  17. @kristin reynolds: totally! we're smitten...in fact, a big motivation for thinning our stuff out is to put up things we love, like that! we just got it from ikea the other day -- of all places! we were happily surprised. : )
