one good thing

maybe it's just me. but does anyone else feel there's been a few extra ounces of negativity in the air lately?  i'm grateful this blog is a place where contentious comments are extremely rare, but my heart breaks to see mean-spirited words left on folks' blogs, twitters, facebooks, etc.

so, today: what's ONE GOOD THING you're happy about, grateful for, or looking forward to?

leave your one happy thing in a comment!

  4. I totally get where you're coming from, so much so that I had to comment. My one good thing is that next week I'm moving to a new city to start a new job and enjoy a new group of people. Yay for fresh starts :) Cx

  7. I don't know how to social with negative people so, I just usually walk away. It's not that I'm a coward or anything, that's just not my thing.

Anyway, I am happy for my boyfriend. He's going to compete in Jiu Jitsu this weekend. He hasn't done it in ten years, so I am so excited. He worked hard, lost about 50 lbs & gained so much muscle (sexy).

    Have a happy weekend Bridget!!

  12. I'm mostly greatful for my amazing Husband. It got to a point where I deleted my Facebook due to Negativity, it can be very exhausting to watch others being bashed, or even others trying to bring you down because of their issues. Bleh! Negativity is so overrated.

    adore this quote.
Sometimes smiling is the greatest act of defiance, & sometimes asking for help is the most meaningful example of self-reliance. Sometimes the best medicine is to just laugh until you cry, & sometimes the greatest wisdom comes from accepting you will just never know why. Sometimes just going to bed is the best antidote to trials and tribulations, & sometimes just being blessed to get up again and face it all, for one more day, is worthy of celebration.
