the first two photos were taken while walking home from the bookshop -- in the snow! while the rest catalog slower moments of pedestrian life, that was something wonderful, and something shared. i had a good window seat in the tattered cover when the snow started -- quarter-size flakes coming down in a flurry. people gathered by the windows to watch the snow fall, and ooed and awwed. i loved to see people so giddy over something that, at least in colorado, is quite ordinary. there will always be magic in falling snowflakes.

I want to cuddle up in that yellow blanket, if you could lend a pup, that'd be nice too.
ReplyDeleteI feel like somehow you have the same phone/ camera as I do and take pictures that are 100x better. haha!

@amber: hey amber! here are some answers for ya:
ReplyDelete1. here's how i format these instagram posts: when i post something to instagram, i also have them sent to my flickr account. when i write the post, i copy the image code from flickr (at a smaller size), and then paste it into the body of the post. then, i center the images. they line up in pairs for me because of the width of my posting space. for yours, you may be able to pair up slightly larger images (more like 300x300) -- depending on what sort of width you have in your blog space.
2. i added font to that image using picmonkey.com. it's a free photo editing website. while i use photoshop for almost everything, i'll sometimes use that site to make quick collages & to add fonts. it's easy breezy and they have lots of fonts.
i hope that helps! if my response was confusing/you have other questions, shoot me an email: bridgetfossedal@gmail.com
