archibald got excited by the ornaments…
he loved chewing on them last year.

as sad as we are to not have a real tree this year, we had so much fun sprucing (pun intended) this one up. we laughed the whole time and felt really silly. we listened and danced to christmas music, the dogs looked at us like we were crazy…life was good. plus, when we go home for christmas, you best believe i'll be sticking my nose deep into my mom's tree to take in that good piney smell.

i love christmas & i love the little family i have to share it with. i've got a lot to be grateful for. and i'm so thankful this blog can be an archive of that, because i never want to forget it.

  25. First glance(okay, actually it took reading to realize otherwise) I thought.. "hmm, wonder how she got the lights to stay so straight on her tree." and that was followed by "hmm, wonder what the sheet behind the tree is covering?".. it never occurred to me that the tree was in fact the sheet. I LOVE IT!
