printing instagrams at walgreens

did you know you can now print 4x4s at walgreens 1 hour photo?

1x1b
1x1
1x1d

while we love ordering prints from my professional printer it's a bit on the pricier side for printing things at a 1x1 ratio, which is a bummer when you want to print a large volume of photos. the exposure was a bit off one of the photos, but for the price (39 cents a pop), the matte texture, and a 1 hour wait time, we were very happy! it's just a little bit cheaper than printing from printstagram, but since you can get 'em done in an hour, a good alternative if you want to throw up a project in one afternoon. we're going to print loads of them and decorate some corners of our place, like the collages in this post.

i say go for it.  just another way to experience the joys of instagram.
(you can do it right from your phone.)

happy printing!

  3. I love this idea, and if you go to Costco it's even cheaper- like 13 cents each. For the collages in the last post, I love the one in the giant frame propped against the wall. So pretty!

  22. @kelli diane: oh no, i'm sorry! i actually learned about it while i was in the store printing some other photos. i just hooked my phone up to the machine in-store and it worked out swimmingly. (note that you want to have your phone's usb on you). above the machine, there was a sign saying you could now print 4x4s online as well…i haven't had success finding that either, but i've heard there's an app you can download so that you can order them right from your phone. maybe try that! xo.
