the weather here has been nutso. we do expect that living where we do-- we've quickly learned the adage about denver weather is true: "if you don't like it, wait 5 minutes." this week i've worn distinctly winter clothing, distinctly summer clothing, and a heck of a lot of springish & fallish ensembles too. there have been days when i swear we've passed through the entire 4 seasons in a 24-hour span. we were getting ready for spring here, but i hear snow's heading for the ol' front range this weekend. the truth is, i don't trust weather predictions or temperature readings anymore -- i stick my head out the window, assess, and pray it won't change too much. then i pack a coat and hat and mittens -- just in case.
