a quick home tour, brought to you by iphone

of course, i decided to take photos of this place *right* after stripping the bed & emptying out the kitchen cabinets to clean them out. so, you know.

even though this is technically our second apartment, i'll always think of it as our first home together. i don't think i'll ever tire of taking snaps of it -- the way we arrange things, how we make it our own. eventually, when we move out (edit: when i'm pulled from it, by the ankles & weeping), we'll probably make a whole photobook of just this apartment. in the first place, i do love photographing us and the ins & outs of our day-to-day…but i want to always remember the spaces we occupy too. there is so much of us that lives here -- in the piles of books that get shuffled around, in the little messes we make -- an art form all its own.
