coloradans, give me a wand -- i know the vanishing spell.

a 48-hour retrospective glance: feet in sandals & legs in shorts.
there was sunshine, and blue skies, and little flowers blooming beneath them.
in the morning, i sat outside & waited for lane to pick me up.
there were smoothies & a romp in an open field with dried-up grass & daises.
we found wonderfully tacky swimsuits & skirts to wear in the summer.
and now: snow. everywhere.

if it was marshmallow fluff (or something comparably delicious),
i swear to you, i would eat my way through it, just to make it disappear.
or, if things had panned out the way i'd always hoped they might for me…
and i'd gone to hogwarts…and i had a wand…
i might just shout, "evanesco!" and be done with the whole thing once & for all.
seriously, someone give me a wand.

  1. Call J.K, she might give you a spell that works wandless. :)

  2. same thing happened here in Kansas except for everything was covered in ice. All those poor little buds on the trees are now popsicles.

  6. no word of a lie, i've been rereading the harry potter books this week. i think nargles are responsible for the snow. luna lovegood is my kindred spirit.
