date night -- the hospital version

on saturdays, robbie & i normally have date nights.
it's our special night for just us two…
which usually ends up with us being really juvenile & dancing a lot.
and there's usually more sugar than is advisable.
but, you know.
anyway: just cause robbie's in the hospital & hooked up to all kinds of IV bags & stuff,
we weren't about to skip date. i mean, sheesh.

so…we brought date night to the hospital.
we ate veggie burgers in the cafeteria (classy), sipped some afternoon coffee...
& played with the indoor putting green i surprised him with that night!
because, yes, just to be clear: we are 24 going on 50.

& then, i can't remember exactly, but we probably watched some downton abbey.
as we are apt to do.

  2. Seriously, I'm going to crash a date night one night. Or maybe we can have a non-date-night-date-night. Yes, I think that would be better. A putting green? Genius.
