24 April 2013

& she hoped that maybe, just maybe, this would be the last snowstorm for awhile.

i took these photos on tuesday (which, by the way, was april 22), in the hopes i'd be documenting the last snowfall in denver...until at least november 2013.

you see how that stuff's blowing sideways? it wasn't terribly cold, but it was wet. man, oh man were my hands red purple after that. i regretted it a little bit, but mostly not -- when we leave colorado eventually, i want to remember her wild, wild weather.

i'm glad, at least, the spring snowstorms came & went while robbie's been in the hospital. he should be comin' back home any day now and BOY i can't wait to hop on our bikes & picnic in the nearest park. (translate: there will be ice cream.)

  3. i've been so sick of these pop up snowstorms, but yesterday it was snowing those great big giant fluffy flakes and i figured if it had to snow, i could deal with those ones.

    xoxo Gloria

  5. It has been the craziest, most unexpected spring. All this weather! Love the graffiti on the walls, and the way you captured some motion in these photos.
