staying indoors & reading books / you might never see my head without a beanie on it ever again

i've been spending unadvisable amounts of time indoors owing to frequent snow on the menu -- well, and also in the car driving back & forth between downtown & the hospital robbie's at. i miss bumpin' into that guy around this apartment like mad.

i finished franny & zooey a couple weeks ago. it was basically 200 pages of dialogue and character development and almost no plot…so i loved it. i just started bastard out of carolina -- been on my reading list for years.

also: april in colorado = forever in a beanie. it's become, i admit with heavy heart, the very nexus of all my outfits of late. i may need a dose of help remembering how to dress when spring finally rolls in.

  1. your apartment looks so cozy. bastard out of carolina has been sitting on my bookshelf for years...a family member put it in a box of things to donate and i liked the cover photo so i took it out. you'll have to let us know how it is so i can finally have a reason to read it!

  6. No plot in Franny + Zooey? I think I might have to pick this up! Character development has always been more important to me than the plot itself.

  8. I wish I were a reader. I actually enjoy it, but once I put a book down, it stays down for quite a while.... I would be miserable if there were no signs of Spring where I live. I hope Spring comes to you soon! :-)
