this is my diana

everyone, meet diana. i made her official acquaintance yesterday in the clearance section of urban outfitters. and i mean SUPER clearance. like, clearance-d enough that we brought home her, and one of her sisters (also named diana, but a little bigger & striped) and another little plastic lomo friend that makes movies.

i'm blessed to have a battalion of fancy DSLRs with lots of switches & dials & buttons, but there's something really lovely and surprising and freeing that comes with an all-plastic camera that weighs nothing, fits in your palm, and welcomes being fired blindly from the hip. oh, the adventures we'll have, diana & i.

  1. I would love to have a little Diana myself one of these days... but can we please take a moment to also look at that GORGEOUS skirt! (or dress?) Beautiful. Enjoy the adventures to come!

  2. i'm so crazy about control with photos, so i adore my instax mini because it gives me no chance to be a perfectionist. the photos will come out great, or they won't. there's really no way to tell. and i love that camera for it. :)
