snaps from the road

a handful of from-the-road snaps -- which are my favorite kinda snaps --
taken on our drive from denver to park city, utah.

i loved watching the terrain changed as we passed through colorado, into wyoming, and finally arrived in utah -- because just when you think the scene is starting to get monotonous, a gargantuan rock cliff will rise up to your left, and you can't stop yourself from sighing wowwww every time. the supreme beauty of nature just has a way of never, ever getting old. when you think you've seen it all, it has a way of drawing you back, defamiliarizing you again. you have to see a mountain from a hundred different angles, at a hundred different hours, on a hundred different days -- and even then, we might still be amazed.

oh, and by the way, i love road trips with that dude. we get pretty goofy on 'em. but more on that later.

  1. Utah is so underrated, though I think I still prefer the Rockies. How lucky we both are to live in such a place!
