find your quietude. tell me: what is the thing that stills your hands & slows your breaths? chase that thing. work at that thing. toil and trial and drudge at that thing till it lives in your marrow. it is the feast of your self, the stuff of your soul.
There is a lot of truth in these words, nothing is more important than that one passion that quiets your soul x
ReplyDeletethis was such timely encouragement for me. I'm really more type A than I'd like to admit and constantly antsy about ticking off to-do lists. but when I'm in the studio drawing and hand printing the cards I make, it's like time stops. grateful to have found my quietude, may I remember to chase it even when others doubt what I'm doing.
ReplyDeletethis is so beautiful.
