a pumpkin patch date

there's something about a man in flannel & wellies, i tell ya. and we love our new pumpkin friend, who is very warty, and has thus been christened stewart.

also, if you say "christened stewart" quickly, it sounds a darn lot like "kristen stewart" which, i promise, decidedly, was not what we were going for. that said, a full hour of back & forth texting with friends this morning about the hogwarts sorting ceremony -- where would each of the beatles go, where would the pretty little liars go? -- does leave rob pat as cedric lingering upon the mind. by the way, that is the most fun game to play. but also "what would your patronus be?" and "what would your horcruxes be?" are the most fun games to play.

on that note: i think there should be some sort of socratic skype seminars where all of us can digitally connect and discuss HP theory at length. dunno. just sayin'. shall we? i'll bring the butterbeer!

and like so many of my chit chats, this started as a conversation about something else entirely -- a pumpkin patch -- & so quickly plunged into hp & pretty little liars gobbledegook. what's new, friends?

  1. Carved pumpkins for the first time ever(!) with my nieces and nephews tonight - they turned out surprisingly well :) We also do Hogwarts sorting for everyone in uni, so much fun!

  14. Okay. I love your boots and socks combo. And now I'm imagining Spencer as Ravenclaw. And Aria as Slytherin? Gryffindor?? This is hard. I had a convo once with friends about our horocruxes. It was a great get-to-know-you kinda game!

  17. You go on such lovely and random tangents! Love it! I would be in Ravenclaw mostly because I like blue and I like to learn new things and my patronus would likely be a sloth because I like to sleep alot and possibly fail at swinging from tree to tree XD
