christmas grams

be back soon with some fancier photos. in the mean time, here are some christmas grams.

in case you couldn't tell, i really love my new ukelele from robbie. i spent the day walking around & fake strumming it while crooning mele kalikimaka. but no, really, i have a book now, and i'm going to learn, and i'm so excited. having spent my whole life in vocal performance, it's important to me that our future kiddos grow up with music in our home.

aaaand i was writing another sentence, but now i have to go because robbie is playing beirut songs on my uke across the room & i'm going to die.

  8. Ahh! I love the ukelele. I can't play, but one of the best friends has one and thinking of them always brings back wonderful memories of nights around campfires or typewriters or glasses of whiskey, or all three. :) There is also a busker in Edinburgh who plays a ukelele which she hooks up to an amp and turns up quite loud. It's a really amazing sound. Never tire of it!

Happy holidays and all the best for the New Year!
