101 dalmatians // rose wholesale

dress: ℅ rose wholesale // locket: ℅ burdees

growing up, the 101 dalmatians was a true blue fossedal family classic. 'twas constantly in the VHS rotation. anyway, i was one of 6 kids -- and only girl of the pack. so when my mom would take us to chuck e. cheese, or the park, she'd gussy us up in these disney store 101 dalmatian outfits -- red, white, black, and polka dotted -- to make us easier to spot. pun intended. 101 dalmatian themed pants + tops for my brothers, and a dress + hair bow for me. good gravy, i hope my mom hung onto those!

i should like to think that this dress from rose wholesale is like the grown-up (…or full grown pup) version of ye olde dalmatians ensemble. and between the polka dots + scalloped peter pan collar…i may just never take it off.

this was my first time ordering from rose wholesale, and i was very pleased. have you ever checked them out? (there's a button over on the sidebar if you'd like to peruse!) they have so many things that fit into what i call my two senses of style -- my more vintage-girly inclinations, and my free-spirit boho self. polka dots and crochet. peter pan collared frocks and long, flowy maxis. and, if you're a bargain hunter like me, buying wholesale (rather than retail) is great. as long as you can be patient with overseas shipping, it means you can try out new trends without breaking the bank. huzzah!

  1. I grew up with that classic as well...I love your dress. How do you make your photos look like the way they printed ads in 1960's. It just has that 60's ad quality, love it!

    1. thanks, danica! i like to give them a bit of an analog quality, for sure. : ) i use LR + PS with vsco presets, as well as some presets i've concocted on my own. a good place to start is playing with highlights + shadows, and upping the grain (and size + texture of the grain) a bit. hope that helps!
