henry's donut

basically without fail, the first thing robbie + i do when we arrive in our hometown of mukilteo, washington is rush over to henry's donut for a late night snack (proof from last year). it's a humble, but great little place in our town -- the spot where all the high schoolers hang out, as i did in my heyday, as my little brother now does in his. for many years now, henry's donut has been sustaining the midnight cravings of teenagers across that rainy town, and i hope that never changes. also, do you like that slightly crazed look in my eye? it'd been a long day of traveling from denver. i'm going to blame looking tired on that. ok, but really, actually, the reason i look insane is because you see that donut? ain't no chocolate long john like a henry's chocolate long john & that's the real truth.

post! guess what? this photo is from december. i'm just getting around to processing all my raw files from christmastime, taken on my new camera. needed to update my lightroom + all that jazz. ; ) so expect lots of holiday in seattle snaps the next couple weeks.

    1. thanks, katie! it's funny because i'm still missin' the old one a little now + then -- i think just my lens collection, really -- but i'll be all reset with a full lens set here soon.

i switched back to canon, actually. i started with canon years ago, and then sort of impulsively bought a nikon d700 + used that for the last several years. which i absolutely loved! but i wanted to relearn the canon interface & go in that direction. so i currently have the canon 6d. it's great!
