Forrest is always right

Helloooooo, world. Time is quickly climbing past the witching hour and here I sit, so very, very awake -- or at least full of some rejuvenated, temporary acumen. And so, an itty bitty midnight post if you don't mind.

These four snapshots recently came back to me, printed off and filed into a little photo counter folder. In the age of digital everything, there is such suspended, glorious joy in dropping off a roll of film to be developed -- for in the wise words of one Forrest Gump, You never know what you're gonna get.

...Hashtag best movie ever.

  6. These are really nice and quiet. Having film photo prints is really personal and tangible. I hardly ever print my digital photos and I really shoot. I havent developed film in a while, these make me want to!

  8. Oh yes, film photography has such magic to it, some kind of indescribable feeling. I started taking film photos again for a little while there, you've reminded me I really need to carry that camera around again! I miss it!

    1. Ah, it's so fun. It's easy to become re-obsessed with shooting film when you've neglected it for awhile. : ) Have fun on your photoshooting adventures!
